Gayatri Minerals was established in the year 1989 and deals in Manufacturing and supplying Whiting Chalk Power of unique and unmatched quality. We have been focusing on the quality control according to the ISO Standards and Customer's need.
The processing unit is spread over the area of 22,000 sq ft, and the unit has its own mining areas around Porbandar, the only place in Asia yielding Whiting Chalk Powder. We assure our customers moist-free product throughout and our mission is to exceed our customer's expectations by providing them with the best quality.
Our monthly production ranges from 1000 – 1200 metric tones per month.
After Mining Slurry, Chalk Lumps (Raw Material) are formed. Later on it is transported to Manufacturing Unit and it is pulverized and transformed into the final product, WHITING CHALK POWDER.
The product is currently being supplied all over India and also exported to Asian Countries.

From Our Own Mine Face to Your Mixer
Very few calcium carbonate suppliers in India control their own raw material. Most buy chalk or limestone lumps on the open market and grind whatever arrives — which is why their whiteness and composition drift from lot to lot. Gayatri Minerals works the other way round. We hold and operate mining areas around Porbandar, so the sequence from geology to packed bag is a single controlled chain rather than a series of purchases.
Mining slurry is worked into chalk lumps at the mine, dried, and moved to our 22,000 sq ft processing unit. There the lumps are pulverised and classified into finished whiting chalk powder. Because we choose which face material is won from, we can hold back off-colour or contaminated pockets before they ever enter the mill — a correction that is impossible for a grinder working from bought-in feedstock. Monthly output runs at 1000–1200 metric tonnes, enough to serve both scheduled bulk contracts and shorter-notice top-up orders.
Modern Processing
A dedicated pulverising and classification line sized for continuous bulk output rather than batch job work, with material handled under cover from drying through to bagging so it reaches you moist-free.
Consistent Particle Size
Classification is set and monitored per grade, so the fineness a customer approved at trial is the fineness that arrives on the next order. Predictable grading is what keeps dispersion times, extruder wear and surface finish stable in your process.
High Whiteness
Porbandar whiting chalk is naturally bright before any processing. That matters most to paint, wall putty, PVC and light-coloured rubber customers, where filler colour directly limits how white the finished article can be.
High Purity
Quality control is aimed squarely at the contaminants that cause downstream trouble: heavy metals, gritty oversize and absorbed moisture. Our long-standing commitment is material with almost no heavy metals and no substandard fraction.
Quality Assurance
Quality control is carried out in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards and, just as importantly, to each customer's own specification. Where a buyer has an internal acceptance limit, we work to that limit rather than to a generic datasheet.
